I just read the above...

I am sorry for all the typing mistakes that I have made...and the very few accidental gramatical errors. I assure you, it is not in my nature to commit the latter... so naturally as you can imagine, somebody forced me to make those grammatical mistakes...

I hope you would understand and be patient with your keyboard.

THIS ONE SUCKS

First of all...its funny, no one thought of "thisonesucks" as a blog address...I wonder where everyone's imagination is these days...

I have just rolled up my sleeves to write on what I anticipate to be one of the most controversial or the best loved or the most hated topics of i-mag. So will this be a thought provoking article? I know not my friend...but it will surely provoke something...

It all came to pass when I was asked highly indirectly by a female editor of another magazine, to write on any topic that I wish to, for her magazine, obviously. You must be wondering how I come across all these different female editors...even I do and I have resigned myself to believing that its just that, I am always available for helping females. In my opinion, that's nothing but EXTRAnormal for any single average male writer like me. And coming back to my writing skills, I am a bit touchy about this particular topic - “Anything That You Wish To...”. My pen has wreaked havoc before...in my pockets by leaking...but this is its first chance to present something to the reading class IN GENERAL... (the only texts I have ever written before during my engineering, have been SPECIFICS, meant for individual readers, like answer sheets for examiners). So when I was asked to write something so vague, I let my thoughts flow out of my fingers because when it is for me to decide, I can’t discriminate between topics. That is so unjust and partial. Being a passionate believer and upholder of justice (I am the only known...maybe unknown, topic rights activist...and writer), I feel deep empathy for the topics that are left alone because of THE ONE chosen topic. I can imagine how the other topics would feel being left, not thought upon...because at most occasions I share the same fate. But let me not make you feel disinterested by this gibberish...

Let us together dive into and explore ‘MY’ thoughts at the time of my writing this article...

What my mind is thinking right now is far more complicated than the previous and the next article’s topics complicated a hundred times and then squared only to take the 67th root...

...complicated??

Well so it is...that’s how my brain works. That’s how any other brain works. And that’s the most fantastic fact about this article. I am trying to capture the flow of my thoughts with my pen and to phrase them in the most interesting manner. That’s what makes this article, a bit (too much) unconventional...but that’s how any human brain is, unconventional.

From what I have read about the human brain, its an organic computer...that’s what I call it. With the trillions of neurons buzzing like mad in a space precisely as large as a...SKULL...I find the human brain, a fascinating creation of nature. The fact that the human brain is conscious and intelligent to an extent where it can derive results out of its vicinity, makes me understand that nature, its creator, is itself a conscious and an intelligent entity. And seeing that even the human brain can’t replicate anything as perfect as itself, only of a lower magnitude, I feel that nature is far more intelligent than us humans, having created the human brain.

Nature holds my respect not only because of the fact that it creates perfectly, but also because of the fact that it maintains perfectly. Since the time of the big bang, nature has followed its one and only timeless principle of natural selection. Its the principle followed by nature for creation, preservation and elimination of everything that is natural. All objects and species less intelligent than the humans have followed this principle and nature has cared for them...but...

Humans on the other hand...maybe compelled by a genetic mental disorder or something...they started fighting for something exactly opposite what was natural, they started  debating that “All are Equal” something which is completely against the theory of natural selection. So what transpired out of the debate for empathising with everyone? Nothing but a six billion plus of INTELLIGENTLY GREEDY population which is APPARANTLY ruining the planet earth, exploiting even the vastest of resources of the earth to exhaustion. Polluting all four realms of the natural world with its humungous supply of never ending and ever polluting waste. And we have, with our superior intelligence created something most lethal to planet earth and the life that exist on it, PLASTIC.

Plastic is everywhere today. Maybe not everywhere in Chandigarh but everywhere else. And what exactly is it?? Its something non-biodegradable (check the dictionary if you don’t know this...I’m not going to explain such petty things...however its definition is smaller than this text inside the brackets). No naturally occurring substances nor any living organisms EXCEPT humans have anything to do with plastics. It is created artificially by us and can’t be destroyed naturally. You know what I feel about Plastic? It is the competitor of the existing organic life form...

Let me put light on this seemingly stupid reasoning...

Initially we used to have abacus to do calculations. It was made of wood and used absurdly simple principles to calculate stuff. Later we devised the calculators out of silicon. A completely new way of calculating the same stuff and more, using a method that was UNIMAGINABLE (to the extent of “I’v no imagination at all mate!”), at the time of abacus (but now we know how silicon works...its so obvious!)

Now if we put the same analogy on the existing life and plastics? Right now, we live in a world dominated by organic life form, which is coming to a shut down because of Plastics. Suppose, just suppose that all the life goes dead because of humans and all that is left is the left over plastic. Now using the earlier conclusion that nature is alive and intelligent, it won’t let nothing happen. Just as billions of years ago, life originated from some not-so-alive molecules of carbon, oxygen and nitrogen, maybe nature will again find a way of starting life out of plastic?? (can you believe that there was a time in ancient natural history when oxygen was the deadliest gas for the micro-organic life that existed at that time...its true...they have sufficient evidence and showed it on Discovery!!)

And as is known, nature itself could not manufacture plastics itself, except through human beings, whom if we look at from nature’s point of view, are a part of nature itself! Which could lead to mean that MAYBE NATURE CREATED HUMAN BEINGS TO CREATE PLASTIC FOR ITSELF, SO THAT A BETTER OR MORE ADVANCED LIFE FORM DEVISED OUT OF PLASTICS COULD REPLACE THE SIMPLER ORGANIC LIFE FORM THAT EXISTS NOW!!!

That should make plastic a good and perfectly NATURAL entity that nature itself intended to create. So we can produce more of it unless you want your future generations to become martyrs for natural selection. BECAUSE natural selection will GO ON....whatever you choose to do. The way that we follow right now might lead to our elimination. And if we try a different way, we’ll face natural selection in the organic life form too.

And nature has its weapons to neutralize us. Nature is intelligent, so to answer what could overcome the highly advanced immunity and medicinal knowledge of humans, it created the HIV which affects our only defence against natural death. And even if we find a vaccine for AIDS, who knows what will come next? What you see around yourself is so obvious for you because you are used to it. A thousand years ago, it wasn’t even a dream...and nature is still more wondrous...the most unpredictable thing in this universe is nature’s nature.

We must understand that whatever we do to our planet, it will survive and come out of it, in just the same way as it did during the countless asteroid crashes, gigantic volcanic eruptions, magnetic pole shifts etc. etc. etc. (that wiped out 99% of life in their days). But it is WE humans who will perish. Even though we have to get finished one day just like every other natural object, we can ensure either a gradual passing away into a better species and prolong our existence in a subtle manner or make our race reach a painful, cancerous end; by acting accordingly in the present.

I still hold that nature is the entity that controls everything, and natural selection is the language of its commands...its upto us, how we act upon it for our benefit...for it shall never stop affecting its entities, whatever we do...

Its upto us...
